De Evangelical School of Theology (EST) wil door middel van bijbels en theologisch onderwijs, onderzoek en publicaties de Christelijke kerk in Suriname versterken en verdiepen. De school biedt, aan mannen en vrouwen die zich willen bekwamen tot de dienst in de gemeente en de samenleving, verschillende theologische studies aan op primair, secundair en tertiair niveau. In al haar activiteiten beoogt zij de eer van God en de dienst tot de naaste.
